We wear gloves or hardhat when working with pipe and overhead pipe work. Lay dust sheets to stop water getting everywhere and also buckets as well.

Method statement

We first got our PPE on. We look around to find the split, leaks and damaged piping, when we spot the area we top water mains and we removed damaged area with a bucket under it. We got rid of the damaged pipe we then took the measurements of the damaged area that was 300 mm and fixed back into place with new joint connectors, we then tested for any leaks and other problems then finished (plus clearance).

Dear customer

We have inspected the plastic waste and you had a split in the pipe and trap  was not tight.

We turn  of the water so that no more water can get out the  tap and then put a dust sheet and bucket under the pipe needs coming out to collect the water.

Next we cut a pipe to size of existing length and re attached to the same place.

We then tightened the trap back up.

Then we test to see any leaks and problems then finished and then we packed  (plus clearness).
