Risk assessment
• Cuts to hands
• Splinters
• Power tools
We wear correct PPE. To prevent these risks from happening. To stop cuts to hands wear gloves sothat any wood or splinters. Then to stop dust or wood in eyes wear goggles and also it will help when using power tools because PPE will help and use must be trained to use them. We are working to the health and safety act of 1974.
Method statement
We first got our PPE on, and then we made way to the area of work and found out the facing of gate is split all they way down they middle of some of them. So we then went to go and get the same existing facing and made way back. Then start tacking it off form gate and then measured out the length to they new facing its about 400mm and the just put back in same position and spacing. After fixed all well and made any last touches and pack away (plus clearness).

Dear customer
We have inspected your gate when making way to house and found it has a few big major splits down the face of wood.
So we got a few of the same wood gate facings and made way back to work area so that we can start to replace it all.
Ripped of existing facing and then made any slight ejectments to new facings (cutting off parts top fit).
Then put were existing old facing and then made any last touches finished and pack away (plus clearness).
