Risk assessment

· Falling objects (high risk)

We wear correct PPE. To prevent these risks from happening. To stop objects from falling we keep our hand dry when picking up hand basin. Also wear gloves to stop any sharp objects from cutting our hands. Wear boots to prevent any injuries which might occur if the basin falls. As well you must wear goggles when drilling the hole for where the basin will be and in case the person shatters the basin brakes.

Method statement

We first got our PPE on. Then started to work out the area of where the basin will be and marked, plumb and level on the wall. We started to assemble the basin together with the tap on before attaching to wall, then offer it up too the marked wall measurements and screwed it to the wall to give a fame fixing .After we attached all pipes and then we finished (plus clearance ).

We have inspected the area were you would like the hand basin to be installed.

We marked up the area on the wall with a tape and leveled to get plumb lines and leveled through out.

Next we drilled the holes where the hand basin is going to sit ,we attached the tapes to the hand basin.

We offered hand basin up the wall and we used Fischer basin fixing kit and we attached the basin to the wastage pipes and water flow pipes .

Then we test to see any leaks and problems then finished and pack away (plus clearness).
