We wear correct PPE. To prevent these risks from happening. To stop splinters getting in hand wear gloves so it will not get right in when handling wood. Then to prevent cuts from chisel hold well and keep away form hands. And we boots so that if you drop a tool your feet will be safe. We are working to the health and safety act of 1974.

Method statement

We first got our PPE on, and then we made our way to the area of the door lock and saw that the lock was broken and the area around split and making the lock loose. So we tock all out and strted to mark up were it will be for the new slot for it to sit in. After its all mark and correct we started to dril holes in with a machine flat bit and then chsile to make look good and fit easly. Then after marked were the holes for they handle and key hole will be drill it out each side half way and fixed all together. So that it will cose but we have to move the door fram plat up a little so it will lock and hold in place as well. We got the plate and moved and marked it corisponding to the lock and chisled and driled a bit so it locks well. Then  finished any last touches and packed away (plus clearance).
