We will wear the correct PPE to prevent wear goggles to stop mortar mix getting in eyes and then to wear boots that will stop your feet getting crushed form dropping a heavy manhole and cover any wounds so that it cant get in then we will be working to the (HSE) standers and they health and safety 1974 act.




Method stament
We shall put on our correct PPE on before we start the install inspection cover to be well protected. Will tack they existing man hole cover and get rid of it then we will brush lose mortar and dust so we can start to lay a fresh mix of mortar to install a new man hole cover. Then we start to mix sharp sands and cermente together to create the mortar mix then we apply that to the existing man hole cover brick wall and placed the frame and levelled it. Apply around the frame to give it a strong hold and to give it a nice finish by keeping it all flushed, after we shall clean up and do any last minute touches.
